University of Windsor Chapter

Chapters are the beating heart of EWB. Across Canada chapter members are taking thoughtful and strategic actions to create profound social change in their universities, companies, and communities.

EWB Windsor is a student organization at the University of Windsor. We connect with EWB’ers both locally and globally to support social innovations in Canada and Africa. We educate students on the importance of breaking the many systems that sustain poverty. And we empower future leaders who enable others to reach their full potential.

At EWB Windsor, we have five ventures: Advocacy, Campus Outreach, Evolving Engineering, Food Systems (which includes a partnership with Fair Trade Windsor), and Youth Engagement.

We also host three flagship events: the Run to End Poverty, Gala, and Youth Conference. In the 2016-2017 year, EWB Windsor hosted the Southwestern Ontario Retreat (S.W.O.R.), in which EWB’ers from 7 chapters in the Southwestern Ontario region came together in Windsor for a fun and informative weekend.
